A couple weeks ago, FaDed and I found a very well-made map and played through it a couple times. Nothing big, but extremely well-done. When we went through JK3Files to see if we could find anything else worth playing, we found these beauties, all created by rgoer. After five minutes playing these maps, FaDed declared that he was ready to have this guy's man-children. Two minutes later, I was ready to fight him for that privelage. The first map we were utterly awed by was Docking Tower Seven. Don't let the title fool you, this level contains some very basic Bespin-ish elements, including a rotating cloud-car, but the enterpiece is far from resembleing Bespin. There is a small landing area that no ship could feasably land on. Surrounding it is a circle of semi-transparent panels that let the light on the horizion through very well. Speaking of horizion, rgoer created a completely new skybox for this map, one that this level utilizes very well. The second map that I played was actually his first map, the Chapel of the Ysalamiri. As is with any firt-time map, it is not his best work. But even so, its enough to make the most utilitarian player drool. Good-sized corriders, perfect for giving saberists an equal footing with gunners. If you can find the hidden area within two days of this post, you get a prize.  The third one took the cake. Period. It was soooo sexy I could feel it in my teeth. The Sunset on Coruscant is definatley a level to see for its pure eye-candy. Lets not forget another of these beautiful custom skyboxes, accompanied by two pumping fountains that look so good you want to wet your pants. BTW, this is ONE element that this level and the docking tower share, prize to whoever says it here first in the next two days too.  So far, the Chapel of the Ysalamiri is rgoer's only FFA map, and the other two are more duel-focused. I can hardly wait to see what rgoer has in store for the rest of us in the future. Pretty, ain't they?  |

I download Snset on Coroscant a while back. It's so awesome!!!!!!!!! I think the best part of it is the dynamic lights. Nice and bright too  I'll have to download the other maps when I get home from school today Thanks Sared and FaDed! This comment was edited by Garos on Jun 07 2004 10:55pm. |
