Part 2 of Virty's Secret Project hiring - Design Team ok I got pulled in to help Mr Virty with his secret project thingy and put in charge of getting the design team together. here is the original thread http://www.thejediacademy.net/forums_detail_page.php?f_id=11259 which is asking for Good mappers.. we are after the same thing here, and we are serious.. If you don't know much. don't come and say your really good and then ask for tips along the way, cause we will drop you immediately. Comon guys we are serious.. you will all get to play a part in this. and I won't be as nice as virtue when it comes to kicking shins.. so lets get down to what we want there will be limited positions and I will interview a few people and let them know personally.. I will not broadcast who are chosen. FIRST RULE Confidentiality. if you are chosen and found to leak or tell anyone any part of it.. you get a kick in the shin. Reliability - comon now.. this is a definate. you can't be a designer if the manager is constantly chasing you up on work you should have finished a week ago. we want concept artists mainly not just people who can design things on a computer. if you can draw good and can scan your work thats even better. I totally understand what you are saying Vaughn. But evolution takes far longer then what we have accomplished in just a number of years. We basically have jumped our species upwards in only a matter of centuries instead of thousands of years. Maybe our species hasn't been whiped out because of the movements we have made. now this topic is going into medicine! But if you want to look at it from a counter claim perpective (i dont really believe this all the time.. so be warned), medicines are the driving force behind the deterioration of the human race, and human's evolution. We are becomming dependant on medicines, and as Ash said, you get cut, you get antibiotics to save yourself. in the old days, you get cut, you get infected. yeah, but also, in the cases of evolution, genetic code could have (i know this is a sketchy argument, im just throwing it out) developed so we become immune to that virus/bacteria, or atleast our immune system gets strong enough to protect against it. Actually, if you take some time and do some research, you will find that some medicines are not so good for you, even though they cure illnesses. |
