I've just made a couple of movies of me dueling on the Home server. The first one is me vs 3th and the second is me vs BDKawika. These are the first movies I've ever done so I've tryed to start off simple. I appreciate the tips guys, keep em comming I will eventualy get a better editing program. hmmmm i just saw the one with JadeJ vs bdkawika and well... gf music doesnt fit the vid tho - the fight isnt THAT violent lol ahh and dont laugh @ windows movie maker users. software like adobe premiere are very complex and really uneasy to use. vids like these duel videos are mainly for fun so i guess maker didnt have so much time to learn premiere. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Yeah, forgot to mention that I used 30 not 20 and for the 3th vid I added the sound in the QVM instead of in WVM as I said above QVM doesn't give you any music editing options and the Vader/Star Wars sounds were added by The Cure not me. lol @ Windows Video Maker, at least use Vegas or Adobe Premier... And lol @ that guide, it says cl_avidemo 20.... horrible, useless setting, like anything over 30 is useless (except for slow motion). I bound these to keys then played the demo and used it to convert to screenshots. (this to start) bind kp_home cl_avidemo 30 (this to stop) bind kp_end cl_avidemo 0 (this for slomo) bind kp_pgup cl_avidemo 90 Then used Quake Video Maker to convert screenshots into AVI then used Windows movie maker to edit and add music and convert to wmv. You can add music in the Quake one but I suggest you do it in Windows it gives you more options. Remember to keep num lock off to using those binds. What method or program did you use? I played around with QVM and Fraps. QVM is ok and Fraps just kills my frame rate!! I wish there was a program that would directly convert the demo files to .avi or something!!
