As most of you know (or who know who I am), I'm pretty much a silent partner in the JA at this point, but that doesn't mean I don't care. So here's what I'm wondering... in the absence of a new Jedi Knight game (c'mon Lucasarts, hook us up!), what can we do to keep the JA alive and thriving? Do we expand into other games? Do we simply exist the way were are as a "family" and accept that the training part is diminished as the game fade away a bit (let's be honest, it's been over 3 years since JK:JA came out)? Let me know what you think and how we can keep this place alive and keep the awesomeness that's been around for almost 4 years going well into the future. _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

First..... I'm baaaack! Finally have internet at the house, though that may be short lived as I may be moving across country for a new job.
I've read much of this discussion, and there are some good ideas. Someone mentioned scheduling events on the servers and reminding us by email. I like that idea. Not only would some scheduled times help members know when to show up on the servers and not be alone, but emailing us would remind us to show up. There should be events for both games, JO and JA. I didn't play JO MP much when it was new as I didn't know about this place and I never felt at home on the public servers. If there are JO events I'll make an effort to be there, but it would be nice if there were some JO classes I could attend first. As far as adding other games..... I haven't bought many new games and those that I have don't compare well with JO. JO is the only game I've played through the single player game more than once. Most newer games won't play on my current hardware. The newest game I own is SW Battlefront. _______________ American dollars are worth less than Imperial credits.
