It's no secret that people have lost interest in actively playing this game, yet still appreciate the game for what it is. A solution? Events, of course. In this case, an almost exclusively saber orientated one
Sort of a branch off from Cuthalions topic, wondering if people would be interested in a weekly or twice a week sabering event of sorts? It would start off very basic as the interest grows (assuming it does at all), with perhaps a tournament style format drawn up for the people present for it - choose your saber type, get drawn up against each other, play a best of three and see who wins that event. Easy to vary each week too if desired - perhaps have a guy on the sidelines with a disruptor who may randomly snipe when he chooses, small-scale tffa (most likely 2v2, and since we would be lucky to see 10 people I imagine, probably more teamplay practice/experience than a tournament of sorts), map variation(duel3 map, aw yeahhh), enforced limits/handicaps to flavour the fight a bit more than usual - the intention is fun, practice and activity, not a serious competitive environment, though competition is one element I'd suggest to encourage involvement So my question is, would people be interested in this sort of thing? If yes, days that suit best for you would be a good thing to include in your post, along with typically convenient times (in GMT format would be a nice standard), to see what sort of mix we'd have to begin with Update: Well, how about everyday from Friday-Sunday this weekend starting at 20:00 GMT? As a test run, to see how many can make it and what not - would like to do some tag team duels if possible, since that concept seems really popular so far, but if numbers are too short for it, can always improvise _______________ Fervent supporter of duelling - leave a message if you would like to battle!
