Fast spin rate, eh?

It has become quite clear to me that some people have found a way to make their spin rate twice as fast while they are fighting multiplayer. I would liket very much to know how this is possible. Also, where can I get a full list of console commands for JA? I type cmdlist in console but only 10 things can fit on my screen. Suggestions? :alliance:

you don't even need console commands. Just start the spin and twirl your guy around by moving the mouse really fast. If sens is higher it is easier though. One of the reasons I don't use dual sabers is that its so tempting to do that, and I don't like to feel bad when I use a move. Its not the only reason, but its definately one of them.

Sup,

the command you are speaking of is:

/cl_yawspeed <integer>

the default is 140, these ppl are setting it to like 5000000. Don't do this, why do you wanna be that freakin lame. If I rember correctly messing with your yawspeed "IS" against Academy rules, so doing it here will get you booted/banned.

As for info on the console, head over to:

www.jedimoves.com

Go to the files section, I have written a console command list, and a client command list, they will have more then you will would ever be interested in :)

About the console commands thing, you can use your page up and down keys to scroll through everything in the console. There aren't very many useful console commnds anyway, as far as multiplayer goes, so don't worry too much.

Also, don't forget to use cvarlist to check the cvars. They are far more useful than commands in many circumstances.

Some Mice though have a bit of a different setup and could possibly have a smoother spin

The mouse spin with senstivity set really high looks diffrent than yawspeed. Mouse movement with high senstivity has a bit of jerkiness to the movement because the player has to move the mouse around rapidly and it has a jerky look to it. Yawspeed is mapped to a key and when its used the move looks like a cyclone spin that they can do with or without their saber out. This spin is very fluid and fast. You see it on public servers but it is against the Jedi Academy code to use the yawspeed bind. Mouse sense is not as far as I know because you have to manually perform it. Like I said you can tell the diffrence between the two. :alliance:

BBJ, if you mean spin as in "special moves" then just quickly move your mouse back and forth after the move is started. Result: you'll spin much faster and cause more damage.
