Hey all, Does anyone here own/use Photoshop CS? If so, I'm having problems with it...for some reason, it consistently becomes unusable after a few minutes of starting it. By unusable, I mean I can't use any tools or anything...the tool cursors don't appear. I went to Adobe's Web site and they said that I should download the newest drivers available for my video card. Use the GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program) it's just as good IMO and it's free. (open source) _______________ Windows95: <win-doz-nin-te-fiv> n. 32 bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16 bit patch to an 8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit microprocessor, written by a 2 bit company, that can't stand 1 bit of competition. |

I'm using Windows XP Professional as my OS. My system is as follows (only information relevant to this problem is included): 1.53GHz processor 512MB DDR SDRAM Nvidia GeForce2 MX200 GPU, 64MB RAM And of course, Photoshop is version 8. Edit: It's also interesting to note that I'm able to run Photoshop 7 without any problems. _______________ "¿En qué puedo servirle hoy?" I'm using the OS X version w/o any problems. I never ran into that with any of my windows installations. What kind of system do you have (Hardware, OS, etc)? _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
