I wanna make babies with them. Abs-ACC for DRK, and the SCH upgrades. And I'm laughing at all those rune chopper DRK who got nerfed with the haste cap, since I have a Kraken Club. Kinda like a 6 month delay on reply, but I still play this every day, lol.
Wings of the Goddess is quite interesting and Campaign is awesome for passtime. As for lvl 75 jobs. The game ddin't really start till I got a lvl 75 job. I have all mission on all expansions completed etc but stuff like Sky, Sea, Dynamis, EInherjar, Salvage and such are the fun stuff. Don't do too much of that till you're 75. I'd say, anyone who gives this game a shot shouldn't expect too much till later lvls. I've heard people quit at lvl 20... well you just haven't seen anything whatsoever yet at that point. I know! But for me it was the opposite. It started to annoy me towards the end. Especially once I was 75. I wanted a break from lvling and people would constantly harass me to party because no healers were ever available. That and no one was ever willing to help me get sea and that is where most of my friends were all the time. Everyone hated the CoP missions and didn't want to help when they were all passed them and unfortunately I got left in the dust.  I tried for 6 months to organize and get some help with sea and it just never worked out. Also Koyi left the game along with some RL friends of ours and I missed playing it with everyone.

I thought FFXI was decent as long as you could find a party. Having to sit around for hours sometimes to get one really sucked though. |

The increased exp gain comes from using rings that you can purchase with conquest points. They're enchantments, meaning you put on the ring, 'use' it, and you have the effect for a while. Also another variant of the signet also kicks up exp gain... but you won't be seeing that for a few levels. ^^;... that is.. unless I help, but yeah.

I ended up jumping in, starting to play, and remembered exactly why I got out in the first place. All this talk of increased exp gain and such didn't seem apparent, maybe it was placed somewhere else. I have about 3 weeks left of my free trial but don't really think I'm going to do anything with it.

Hiii Janus!! I quit ffxi. I got really bored with it. I still have my character I think and haven't cancelled the account yet just in case I want to start up again. It would be a waste to delete my lvl 75 whm.  The expansion came out last year and I just couldn't get into it. Plus a lot of my friends left the game.

It'd been a few years since I last played this and heard it got a lot of improvements. Can anyone testify for FFXI? Also, is everyone still on the Bahamut server? Who's still active in it?

*takes deep breath* Kilvanous (Priest) Sareduoi (Druid) Anaxagoras (Paladin) Fugazi (Warlock) Only my priest and Druid are 60, but the paladin and warlock are coming up soon enough. Also, for your own good, if you want to kill stuff, then roll a DPS class. No, I don't have an excuse as to why three of my main charachters are healers/support classes, but if your mentality is towards that of killing, then roll a class thats effective at it in both PvP and PvE. Makes balancing out things concerning your role a lot easier IMO.

I have a character on hokkar(sp?) cause some friends are on there. Undead warlock :3 So far I love the scenery much more than ffxi. Think I'll make a night elf on stormrage though. I come on late night for like 20 minutes if that lol. I check my chocobo mostly. Im bored as hell with ffxi now and I have a hard time getting help with anything. I think I would rather play a game that is not so people dependent. Or maybe I will level beastmaster since that is something I can do alone.
