Saber Styles & Attacks

I was thinking for the Holocron, we could make clips on all the saber styles and within the clips show all the attacks with tips and tricks for each one( Single, Dual, and Staff) on how to evade, counter and whatnot.
Upside: saves space on the website and can be less troublesome for those who do not have very good connections.
Downside: Will probably have to be conservative with space, so the video could not be TOO long therefor not as much detail could be put in and things might have to be rushed.

Or, just have a bunch of small clips for each attack and then a Tips and Tricks video as well for each saber style.
Upside: Allows for more detailed descriptions for each attack and also a more detailed description for Tips and Tricks.
Downside: Can also be a menace for those of you without very good connections. Space can also become an issue.

P.S. I have added to the holocron in the Medium stance section regarding most if not all Staff attacks. Hope this helps out=)

Hmm...wait! If you had 12 computers and monitors, you could have all sorts of stuff going at the same time! True multitasking!

Ah, ok. Shutting up now. ;)

hm Ruuk I think thats only possible if you put it in a movie file, and run JK windowed meanwhile. You could play the movie in e.g. MediaPlayer, and watch it while playing JK. Pretty complicated though :/

Putting it on as an endless loop? Hmm...that's not a bad idea. You can just sit and watch it, and not have to worry about clicking it on all the time.

Hey...would it be possible to construct something that would stay on top of your screen? You could watch it AND practice it at the same time? 'course, if you only have 64mb RAM, you might as well go pound sand instead...

Datapad already shows the moves. Demo recording with the same combo shown repeatedly would be good.

well I was gonna do that in the original holocron, so basically I'm all for it ;). In fact, I already made them some time ago, but I lost them now I think. Doesnt take too much time to make them again though :).

Not a bad idea, would take a long time to film it etc......... and people with crappy connecton loose out both ways....... A)they lag on the server..... B) they have crappy download.... but nice idea, i suggest maybe makin them with no sound and at a lowest bit rate posssible for maximum usage.....

Sounds like a great idea ithrien!

It'd be a big page to load, but well worth the wait.
Kinda reminds me of the jedi academy lucasarts page...
