Nah I'm kidding about the title. Many new students ask what classes to take so I thought I'd list some of them out. I made this list much like a college creates the required curriculum for its degrees - except nothing is required, and there is no degree. It's just my suggestion of what classes would be good for coursework in different saber styles. I want everyone's input on this, so make suggestions and tweak it to what you think is best. I think if you took all these classes (some of them a few times) and practiced the material, then you'd be on your way to becoming a solid fighter. Just letting you know that the 2nd hour of Motrec's Friday class is Advanced Dual Sabers. I guess he should probably split it up into 2 classes back to back, but I'm not sure if he can do that. Updated. Loss of 5 classes (1 single, 1 staff, 1 astaff, 1 asingle 1 special sits.), gain of 4 (1 core, 1 staff, 1 asingle, 1 gun). |

Motrec still has advanced duals as I believe. And nobody seems to be interested in siege anymore, but who can blame them. updated 9/5/04: For the third month in a row we've seen an overall decline in JA classes. We have lost all our seige and advanced duals classes. Only staff managed to keep the same number of classes as last month. Don't sweat it though, this situation is temporary. As our new trainers and knights start their new classes, we should see the course offerings at the JA take a much welcome jump to a new high! This comment was edited by Tido on Sep 06 2004 03:39am. |

Ok updated this thread. Took out the classes no longer offered, add some new ones. We had a sizable decline in Base Single classes offerend and a sizable rise in CTF and gun classes. Of course not every 'class' offered is on here, just the ones that meet the criteria above. |

hehe, I took a look at the Staff classes, and these are the results: Beginner Staff Class Kuellers Staff Class. Advanced Staff Class Kuel-Style EDIT: Also took a look at Dual Classes: Beginner Dual Sabers Motrec's Dual Sabers. Not likely. Just look at the amount of classes we have dedicated to those stances. It would be a four class list for the both of them combined. |

I'll be sure to keep this updated and improved. Maybe a staffer and a dualie can make one for those styles? Also please make suggestions - you instructors know more about these classes than I do. For example the Classic NoFrikinFun class: its an intermediate so I put it at the end of Base...since we don't have many intermediates. This comment was edited by Tido on May 25 2004 09:43pm. |
