Chi - Preanimated Moves Info: These are basic beginning combos when beginning with staff. I strongly recommend looking at the larger versions by clicking on the corresponding pictures on the right. Kata 1 - Standing Helicopter - Done by pressing Attack+AltAttack at the same time. User will swing the saber around several times hitting high and low areas while staying relatively stationary. Kata 2 - Blade Barrier - Crouching+Up+Attack causes the user to swing in circles his Staff saber to his right, to his left, and once around his head. Only Kata I suggest using if backed in a corner and you truly feel you can’t get out. Kata 3 - Staff Butterfly - Up+Jump+Attack has the staffer begin a series of skips and jumps while whirling the blade around his body. Upon landing, the user slides a few more steps. In that time the saber is the most lethal. Kata 4 - Staff Butterfly Westward -Left+Jump+Attack arcs the user up and to the left while swinging the saber around ones self. Shorter time span than Kata 3 or Kata 5. Kata 5 - Eastern Staff Butterfly - Right+Jump+Attack arcs the user up and to the right while swinging the saber around the body. This lasts longer than Kata 3 but is shorter than Kata 4. |

FOR STAFF LEARNERS: Although all these specials for staff seems powerful, but in my opinion, dont use them unless you really need them. Coz every special has their own critical disadvantage. And you can crush most of these specials with ease, except the front and right butterfly move.
