RESULTS:
Saturday night we had 6 participants for the Tag Team tourney, which is not quite what I expected, but anyways - it was fun.

With 3 teams the system was changed a bit:

- Having the teams fight all against each other one on one. Best out of 3. Winner of match scores a point. When all teams are done we look at the points - the two teams with most points go into the finals for a best out of 5.

Ok. Participating Teams were:

- Hugo & Ik0
- Setementor & KHSenatu
- TigerClaw & Killer9000

Unfortunately KHSenatu had alot of PC problems (I am sorry for you, matey), so it was all a bit hectic at first. But here goes:

Round 1:
Hugo & Ik0 vs TC & Killer 9000

Winner and scoring one point: Hugo & Ik0 (2-0)

Round 2:
Setementor & KHSenatu vs Hugo & Ik0

Winner and scoring one point: Hugo & Ik0 (0-2)

Round 3:
TigerClaw & TheKiller9000 vs Setementor & KHSenatu

Winner and scoring one point: Setementor & KHSenatu


After the first three rounds we had the standings as it follows:
- Hugo & Ik0: 2 points
- Setementor & KHSenatu: 1 point
- TigerClaw & TheKiller9000: 0 points

Thus means we had a final round:

Hugo & Ik0 vs Setementor & KHSenatu

Unfortunately KHSenatu had even bigger PC problems at that time (I am sorry again, mate).

Anyways, we had Killer9000s brother Arente present on the servers, who hopped in instead of KHSenatu.

Winner of the Finals and thus winner of the TTT: Hugo & Ik0 (3-1)

Tag Team Tournament - One Day Event

Map: ja_tag_training

Setup:

8 Teams, 2 players per team.

Teams will be facing off in a tournament tree. The first round will be drawn randomly by myself just right before the tournament starts. Thus you have some excitement before the battle.

General Rules:

- Players start with 100/25
- Forceregen is set to 200
- The pedestals are a "neutral" zone. The tag partners who are not fighting have to have their sabers switched off.
- A legal tag is made if the fighting tag partner jumps on the pedestal and switches off his saber
- As soon as the other partner gets out of his neutral zone, fighting is allowed, no matter if his saber is on or off.
- Healing/Drain while fighting or while standing on the pedestal is NOT allowed.
- A player is eleminated on death. No extra lifes or other jokes whatsoever.
- Win occurs by eleminating both members of the other team, whilst still at least one member of the own team standing
- On a rare-double kill of the last members of each team, the round will officially be called a draw and has to be repeated.
- All rounds will be NF (no force powers except Force Jump, Saber Attack and Saber Defend)
- A ranked member will referee the matches and is responsible to have the rules enforced
- Violating the rules will have consequences which are up to the discretion of the referee (ranging from verbal warning, repeating of the round, awarding the point of the round to the other team, or even disqualification of the team on huge or repetitive violation)
- The referees decisions are final and are not open for argument.
- If both members of a team are not present on the server when they are called upon to take their turn, they will be disqualified and the opponent team advances into the next round through the BYE rule.
- If only one member of a team is present on the server when the team is called upon to take its turn, he is allowed to attend with handicap rules. Which means he does not get a second life to make up for his missing partner.
- One player teams who think they are up to the challenge of going handicap through all rounds are not allowed in general. The previous rule is just a good-will from my part, so the player gets not disqualified due to the missing of his tag team partner.
- Teams who are currently not fighting and spectators are expected to be in spectator mode.
- You are expected to fight on the duel mat. While getting off once in a while is not the problem, a flee-and-hiding action will not be tolerated.
- All general and server specific rules of TJA are still intact.

- Round 1 & 2 features a 2 out of 3 system
- Round 3 (Final) will go 3 out of 5
