Pink_Mintaka - Student

Well, it's actually up to the whole Mintaka family (the active ones anyway  ) to decide when someone is ready to become a Mintaka. Generally, we like to get to know the person for a while, see how they act, how they play the game, (though that ultimately isn't a factor) and things like that. Sometimes this can take months or weeks, depending on the person and their activity.

You can get the IP and Password from the server page. (Or just click on the link in my former post.) For this to work, make sure you're logged in.
Personally, I added the IP to my Favorites List in JK2. When I hit 'get a new list' I'm able to see the server. Then fill in the password by clicking on 'password' and finally double-click on the server. If there's anything else you need, feel free to ask. _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. |

The only way to become a D'Kana is to first be the padawan of a D'Kana, and then for the master to invite you.
Unfortunatly I don't know of any D'Kanas currently taking padawans, because A. Not many are active and B. the only one who is even slightly active won't take any more padawans...ever. He believes the same as me; that if u have more than 2 padawans it becomes less special. If you don't mind I'd like to ask you a question. Why do u want to be a D'Kana anyway? _______________ INTP |

Families are formed in a similar way to real life families, and usually originate (at least partially) from a master-padawan relationship, where the padawan takes on the last name of their master.
Following this, any new padawans of the master or "decendants" (padawans) of this padawan also take on the name. The process goes on and families grow, training and having fun together. |

D'Kana (like belouve and Hat) are families here in the JA. Not family as in a biological sense, but in that all members share a common personality trait, set of ideals or are just really good friends. Families usually follow the format of a padawan/master relationship.
I am the padawan of Jaina D'kana and my padawans are illian and Alex. Both of which are also now dkana. However, simply becoming the padawan of a d'kana isnt simply enough to become one, you must be invited in

It is... but you generally have to be on good terms with all of the Mintakas, and you need to be offered to become a Mintaka. I was here for eight months before I was offered the opportunity.
