Currently, the Jedi Academy Aurochs (JAA) is looking for 3-5 members to include in its TFFA roster. Our TFFA team meets and trains on a regular basis and occasionally competes in matches against other teams and clans in the JKA world. As a member of our team, we will help you sharpen your individual and TFFA skills through our team training sessions. Then, you will test out your training and team work versus seasoned opponents outside the Jedi Academy. These opponents use a different set of tactics that you may not be familiar with, but with the guidance of the Aurochs and your hard work, you will learn how to handle and counter these tactics.
If you are active in JKA/TJA and are serious about becoming a better player, this is a chance not to be passed up. Recently, we have changed our recruitment process to become more proactive and helpful. No longer will skill level be a large determinant of acceptance. All that's required now is a lot of dedication, an open mind, and the desire to become an Auroch, an ambassador representing the Jedi Academy to the rest of the JKA community. So, even if your skill level is not quite where you want it to be, as long as you have the aforementioned qualities that we seek, we'll give you all the help and support you need to improve as a player. So if you are: 1) Active in the JA or play JKA alot (at least a few hours a day on avg) 2) Want to get better and are open to new ideas/suggestions 3) Have a positive attitude, including not judging people by their playing style (or are female with a kickin' physique) 4) Want to represent the JA and be an Auroch Please make make a tryout thread on our forums at http://aurochs.thejediacademy.net/forums or contact a JAA member in-game. Crap, I knew I left something out ----------------- The JAA currect holds its TFFA class/scrimage on Sundays 5pm GMT at the Jaktorow Server (ip: 130.89.169.234:29070 pw: Same as academy's). VERY few players in the JA actually hold a candle to players outside the JA I think the better question is will you find seasoned players within the JA?

Hmm, this is very interesting news indeed.
I just found out that my bro's been working on my computer extensively and that he fixed the graphic-card problem I've had during the last 6 months or so. Glad he fixed it cause I don't have time to do stuff like that when serving in the military. Now, I understand you're searching for active players atm, and you want players ASAP. Sadly, I can't help you guys out at the moment. I'm serving 'til April 5th and then it's gonna take me atleast around three weeks to settle in and get the extensive partying done.
After all this, in may of 2007 I could be very interested in this so I'm probably going to contact you and ask for a chance in the JAA. You're to assume I'm really really rubbish for being out of the loop for that long, but I consider it a chance to fill my JK3-skill-pool with new and more impressive gaming. Feels pretty dumb to write a long post like this with no real chance to join the JAA in a looong while, but I felt bored and atleast now you know there's one guy who's interested.

We had no problems getting matches earlier in the year before major changes happened with the team. From that point on, we've been trying to rebuild in order to have a TFFA squad that could be active enough to play in these matches again. The current number of members in the squad is barely enough to participate in the ESL. But, this heavily relies on the more active players and whether or not they are available. If one or two people are not around on our TFFA squad, we would have trouble coming up with enough players for a match. Take a look at the ESL TDM ladder. There is still a large number of clans out there. Those aren't by far all of them tho. It certainly won't be a problem to find good opponents. Also note that we have a good connection to Ozone, one of the best clans in the game. They are going trough a few changes atm, but still most of them are always up for some practice matces.
