I'm always open to a master if you'd like. I have a few problems though:
- I live in Canada, and we are GMT-5
- I am really new to JK3 and i've completed the campaign and i am now starting multiplayer.
- I live in the country for one week and in town the other, and in the country I have wireless (satellite) internet, but it doesnt seem to connect to ANY servers. so i might only be on every other week.
- I LOVE learning new things and i can't wait to hear from you.

I am back to 'business', slowly getting back to shape, so I decided that in order to improve myself, and also to help someone else, I am looking for an apprentice and/or sparring partner.

I already have two padawans, however one of them went MIA and the other one visits just very little, so it leaves me with no-one I could teach on regular basis. Which is why, I am making this post.

Please bear in mind I've started to learn how to teach others, for this experience will be most likely as new as for you to learn something. It should benefit both of us.

Requirements:

Friendly Attitude
Patience
Willing to learn - mainly yellow style / to have fun
Timezone does not matter: I am able to play from 9pm till even 5 am if you wish. Timezone GMT+1 - as long as you fit into times I mentioned, you are fine!

I'd really prefer some newbie or inexperienced player, as I actually want to teach you something, but as long as you meet all previous criteria and want to spend time with me... post in my profile. :)

I'll want to get to know you first, I have to see you active on the servers, to avoid the situation of training with you few sessions and then seeing you disappear, but ones who are true to learning, having fun and being patient will do just fine. :)

Well, hello thaaaaaar my new jka bff!

As I have a lot of free time and no idea how to spend it. I decided i'm willing to take on a unofficial Padawan learner once again.

- Fighting versus exploits.
- Hit and run tactics.
- Timing.

Movement
- Carthwheels.
- Circle jumps.
- CTF movement strategy's.
- Dueling movement.
- Glides.
- Strafe jumping.
- Rolls.
- Wall running.

The usage of light, dark and neutral powers.
- Dark side versus dark side.
- Dark side versus light side.
- Force point cost.
- Full force dueling.
- Full force in CTF.

- Light side versus light side.
- Strategy's for saving as many forcepoints as possible.

I too have quite a bit of free time on my hands, so could propose to help some people improve if they like. What I would be most competent on helping with is the following;

- Duelling (specifically aggressive duelling on your part)
- Movement (general, tffa style and duelling movement)
- Utilizing all aspects/stances of the single saber in different situations (heavy focus on red here)
- Maximising effectiveness of jumps, concerning economic use of force, movement and how to best apply them in duels and tffa (this includes fancy aerials)
- General tffa tactics (2v1, 2v2, 3v2 and 3v3 mostly, on both sides of the unbalanced figures)
- Dealing with exploiters, ie. players employing the notorious 'poking' technique

I'm rather patient and laid back, and have no skill requirement for anyone interested, if I did have any requirement it would be that you are enthusiastic about jk3 sabering and not deterred easily if things get tough. I have several years of competitive jk3 play in my experience, and would quite enjoy passing on any tips I can to players interested in improving. I'm also in the GMT+0 timezone, but I'm flexible with that since I tend to stay up unusually late, so no worries if you think that may cause issues

I WISH TO TEACH ONE IN THE WAYS OF CAPATALISM!

Requirements

Skill: Anywhere from completely new to casually capable!

GMT: None, but I'm not extremely flexible with times. Ping might pose a problem so keep all that in mind, but I don't mind too much.

Language: English, as it is the only acceptable language to a true capitalist!

Saber: I'm mostly capable with Single. I could teach basics on any saber, but Single is what I use 99% of the time.

Activity: Once a week at least, but I can play up to 3 times weekly.
--------------------------------------
What I could offer: I'm capable (not EXTREMELY OUT OF PROPORTIONS SKILLED, but capable) with single and I have played JKA for a long time.

I have taught several people recently, all fairly new to base (JA+ players) and they have improved considerably.

I can teach Yellow, Red & Blue stances. Also, Footwork is something that I have made major improvements in for myself and I can teach it.
I could also show tactics in Single vs Staff/Duals/Passive/more.
-----------------------------------

I'm fairly patient and I like helping people on this game as a change of pace from Dueling & TFFA sometimes. I'm not too serious or critical when it comes to this game either.

Hope somebody considers it!

OH AND ONE MORE THING: NO COMMUNISTS!

Looking for a Padawan.
Requirements:
1) open, reasonable mind. i don't adhere to some of academy's teachings and like my padawan to objectively assess things before coming to conclusions. also, i really really don't want delusional people who think they're good when they're not. that just pisses me off.

2) diligence. if you don't like to practice, try, fail, etc, don't apply. I'm pretty unsympathetic if you don't at least try. this master-padawan relationship will last quite a long time (usually takes around half a year to get from newbie to good) and i want someone who's as committed as i am. I'm willing to have at least 3 padawan sessions a week, probably 4.

3) maturity/likability/honesty. i don't like jackasses and fake people. don't apply if you think you have to pretend to be someone you're not to get my acceptance. and yes, i can tell when people are being disingenuous. i've had plenty of experience. i'll be honest with you and i expect the same in return.

non-requirements
1) skill. yeah, you don't have to be particularly good. i'm a pretty good/patient teacher. if i can't make you better, no one will. seriously. i'll try very hard.

Credentials:
1) around 5 years of playing experience with single saber. yes, that's 5 years. you can't buy experience.

Please bare in mind i've started to learn how to teach others, for this experience will be most likely as new as for you to learn something. It should benefit both of us.

Declaration of Intent to Accept Apprentice(s) for Training Under the My Masterful Tutelage.

:alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance::alliance:

Greetings all readers! It is I, Cornelius Muffinstein, better known (and FEARED) as Darth Baker, the one and only Sith Lord from the planet Korribun. Let it be known that all your baked goods R BELONG TO ME! Now that my glorious self-introduction is complete, I shall go on to the substance of my message.

Since my victorious campaign against the challengers to my rule, Jedi and Sith alike, I sit alone atop my throne in solitude, growing weary of the lull of peacetime. Such is the price of my dominance! Bakin' ain't easy you see. Alas, a true Sith must constantly seek challenges and I cannot linger on in complacency any longer! Peace is for the weak and become a Sith of leisure, I WILL NOT.

I have decided, in rare moment of charity, to take on worthy apprentices for training. My selection process will be grueling and intensive, requiring all applicants to endure several trials designed to test their potential! This is necessary for without the required physical fortitude and Midicholrian count, a person cannot possibly withstand my training methods. My preliminary trials will simply weed out the weak, separating the men from the girly men, the Alphas from the Betas, the Tallepyons from the Mangrepyons. An applicant will have to pass three of the following five tests to receive the opportunity to be trained by me.

Test A: Fighting the Sith Lord
I, Darth Baker, shall battle the applicant in a duel to the death. If the applicant can reduce my health below 75 hp before being obliterated, he passes.

Test B: Fighting for the Sith Lord
The applicant shall slay opponents as a demonstration of their skills. To pass this test, the applicant must slay 5 opponents within 10 minutes, by any means sufficient.

Test C: Charming the Sith Lord
To pass this test, the applicant must answer several questions from Me, the Dark Lord. If the answers are to my liking I shall have the discretion of passing the applicant. If not, I shall terminate the applicant with prejudice.

Test D: Feat of Strength
The applicant must display their physical strength by performing a parallel squat with a weight of 150 Kg or better. No smith machines, grunting, or pre-lift psych-up's allowed. Applicant must upload a youtube video of a squat conforming to the aforementioned standard to pass this test.

Test E: Feat of Endurance
The applicant must display his endurance by running a mile in 5 minutes or less. No treadmills, road running, or video speed manipulations allowed. Running must be done on a standard Olympic sized track under winds of 2.0 meters per second or less and a video of a run these restrictions must be uploaded to youtube to be valid.

An applicant will commence training as my apprentice upon passing and shall learn of the ways of the dark side as well as various assassination and saber tactics. Upon the completion of said training, there will be more tests to come...

I'd like to do this, I've been a member of the academy for awhile, I know about most of the aspects concerning certain saber styles (Yellow) and I would like the experience of teaching, as well as to meeting new people who play regularly on the Academy servers.

I am looking for a apprentice/training partner.

Please bare in mind i've never taught anyone, this experience will be new for both of us. Hopefully it will benefit us both.

What I can help you with;
Yellow stance
Red stance.

Obviously single saber and more Yellow than Red as i'm just learning that myself!

Requirements:

Friendly Attitude,
Not being afraid to ask questions,
Patience,
Willing to learn and to have fun,
Timezone: It doesn't matter but im GMT.
