I was reading my most favorite Star Wars books ever: I,Jedi and the Jedi Adacademy trilogy. Gantoris isn't a mjor character but he plays an important part in the founding of the New Jedi Order. Sadly he does not get to see the new order of Jedi blossom, he uncovered the ghost of Exar Kun in the Massassi Temple and became a Dark Jedi. He and Exar Kun became angered at each other and Kun burned him from the inside out. Doppelgänger as you Germans know is a double of a person, well something like that. So a long time ago when I realized that I needed a screen name rather than my human name. I decided that since my life seemed divided up into day and night. Night being the time I spent online and day being RL I would be a Doppelgänger online. As for the abbreviation of Doppelgänger that's a secrete and I shall never tell it except the part about me adding another p to Dop. Originally, Janus was the real name of a character Magus from the best video game of all time Chrono Trigger. Upon further digging, Janus was actually a Roman god, with two faces that looks into the past and into the future. I've since used it for everything I've ever done in gaming. Online gaming they are sticklers though, Everquest wouldn't let that be used, most online games already use it or don't allow it.
