If you haven't seen it before now, you're missing it. Here is the trailer for it. Now watch and drool before reading.  Movie? Hardly. Video? Yes. Great action? Definatly. Storyline? WTF is THAT?!? Great editing? Amazing. Sequential layout? Huh? Its a frag vid. Nothing more. Nothing less. It IS, however, the only such video made in Jedi Academy.  Now go watch it!  I remember someone saying that Jedi Knight isn't good movie material. Well...Here's my attempt to prove the opposite. -Christophe 'Jabba' Bonte I am proud to say that for myself, Chris has most definatly proved the opposite. I can also argue the point that some oldschool quakers might be so impressed as to give JA gunning a try. Now for something meaty.  This entire video is centered around CTF. A quite old and very refined gamemode. Something I am sad to say, is extremely underplayed here at the academy. Oh sure, we have our fort and we can toy around with guns all day long, but can we really play? Can we hold our own in the public scope? In my opinion, the sad resounding majority of our answers to this is no. Let me reitirate that the Academy was originally founded to teach and refine skill in this game. Sure, we have gone nuts, clutching our glowsticks in close combat. In fact, I would dare to say that we have some of the most skilled saber users in the entire JA community. I don't wan't to name names, but if you were to toss a gun at some of our saber users, they MIGHT be able to hold thier own. and thats about it. When I see the level of skill foun in videos like this, it inspires me to go out and try something stupid. Try something insane. Try something that will get me killed nine times out of ten. Thats what Jacen (aratan) did. Thats what Jabba did. Look where it got them. So go out there and hog that CTF server up. You never know how much fun you'll have. |

I enjoyed watching Avalon even more than I did the Matrix But I still think probably Trailblazer is the bestest jk3 CTF (my opinion) movie ever because it has a variety of things, such as trick jumps, flag runs, sweet frags, weird bugs, hard to do maneuvers. very very cool it's located at own-age.com as well. |

Just wanted to say.... good to see an article about it, Sared. Only a few things; 1) It's NOT the only frag video for JK games, not even just for JK3. 2) It was actually in German TV a bit after its release. o_O |

CTF can be really fun when you have a good team that works together. But I usualy tend to suck at it. I'm more of a relaxed player so its hard for me to intagrate quick draw gunning with mixed force powers and white knuckeled jumps.
