To join IRC read this The Academy has the IRC Channel #jedi-academy. It's where all us nutcases hang out. Most of the new members are no doubt reluctant to join simply because of the fact ... What do we talk about? Are we there hours on end discussing various Saber-techniques? Are we bickering about who should get a promotion? Are we all sucking up to the JAT's for a chance of promotion? HELL NO We are there to have fun. To take our minds off of Real Life and it's stresses. There we talk about our girlfriends (yeah right, nerds with girlfriends), we talk about our plans for the future (What game shall I buy tomorrow?), we talk about our RL Friends (/me points to some empty chairs) or we just have an all-out good time. I remember me being in #jedi-academy for three hours on end, and not once did the smile leave my face. Some of the most funny people are in there. It's not just a way of chatting. It's a way of living (for Jacen)! Also we don't just have fun! Don't you just hate it when you can't make a class, and have to leave one of those messages on the Teacher's profile? Well, tell him yourself, since most Teachers are in here. IRC gives you the opportunity to explain yourself! Now give IRC the chance of logging you on! IRc: be there and be square! Motivation for writing: I'm using a computer with 56k connection, so I had nothing better to do  |
