Howdy folks. This is a server reservation for you guys to have some fun playing CTF. THIS IS NOT A CLASS. I won't be able to attend the class every week but I trust you guys to keep it civil. Feel free to use the Team Speak server . Here are "MY" rules for the game: 1 - No pre arranged teams 2 - No scripts team scripts. 3 - No cursing or insulting (I wont give warnings, if you curse or insult anyone consider yourself kicked out of the server) 4 - No offending binds 5 – No chat kill unless the fella is carrying the flag ( some ppl exploit the fact that chat kill is not allowed and put up their chat box while they are carrying the flag) 6 - If I catch anyone using scripted moves or emoting he's out of the server These rules are setted to lower the gap between experienced and new players, this way everyone can have fun. PS: As almost everyone that usually shows up for this class is at least decent at the game I decided to remove the no typing /kill rule. I still don’t like it but I’ll respect the opinion of the majority. This class is no longer in session. |

This should be fun. I've only played one..or two games of CTF on JK2. Used to play it a lot on Quake 1..all those years ago lol. Too bad we can't get points for this one but oh well. I bet I'll learn something  Class is looking a tad empty..ENROLL PEOPLE! weee |

Pepsi, yes the reason why I setted these rules is to even things. So if that means getting ppl that are good to perform a bit worse so that the new guys can have a bit more fun I will gladely do it.
I made this server reservation to allow ppl to have some fun without the kind of rudeness, egotrips and trashtalk of the public servers. And for the new guys to have a chance to get a flag once in their lifes and to stay alive more then 10 seconds. There are no points here so ppl just attend it to have some fun. One more thing. You who are taking this class, please read the forums post on strafejumping and gliding, so nobody has to be accused of cheating on basis of "going way too fast not to", which generally pisses me off no end.

A question comes to mind... is this class to keep good ppl from being good so all can have fun, or is it to teach the not so experienced how to play the game the most efficient way?
I seriously can't promise I won't suicide if I fall, since it's close to instinctive to me, but I'll try not to if it makes you any happier, even though I think it's a good bit silly, since all it really does is to put maximum playtime at your disposal. And besides... less epxerienced benefit more from suiciding than experienced, as they fall a lot more. Falling and respawning takes 5 sedonds, suiciding and respawning takes 1 second. This implies that the less experienced (what an euphemism for noobs) gains more time per fall-map than the more experienced who know where to put their feet. gun on! /pepsi |

The point is to not rise the gap betteen experinced and less experienced players. I know that by using suicide you can play the game etremly faster then usual and the new guys wot be able to keep the pace. This server reservations is for all of us to have some fun and relax.

you say no suiciding if we are push, pulled, fair enough. What about if we fall down a pit by ourselves or rage runs out and we're left weak but no ones about ? my scincerist apologys whatever i try to do i cant get in.It took me 10 mins to work out that i was typing in the wrong password(i would explain further only i do not want to reveal the password),and then the server decides its not going to let me in normally it does.
