Right, this is what I've had my heart set on to study at college for the next two years (my A-Levels): [b]Accounting Geography [u]Business Studies ICT[/u][/b] Now I'm dropping the two underlined subjects. Business Studies - my tutor is REALLY annoying, and the course has no entry requirements and so spends half the course covering what I already have a qualification for (at GCSE level). For ICT, I have the same 'covered this before' problem. So I'm not really going with them. So I went to my tutor and said "I'd like to change ICT for Computing." And she told me it wasn't possible because it clashed with my Accounting lectures. So now what I'm hoping to do is this (and I'm just praying it all works out): [b]Accounting Geography Media Studies Law[/b] I just hope this all works out - who knows, maybe Computing will be moved or somehting and I can take that instead of Law. Yeah, I did learn Squibby  But, fact is, that I can't do Computing AND Accounting. And I really wanna do Accounting. I'm going to try and find another way to do Computing. At the moment, though, it looks like this will be my subject list for AS (when I go back on Monday I have to sort the subject changes):Accounting Geography Physics Media Studies OR ICT (if my mum has her way ) _______________ Website |

Ok well last year i stared A-levs, Business studys , exactly same problem as you had ! GCSE is about 50 - 75 % of the AS course So i quit that this year Didn't you learn from GCSE IT that IT just sucks for interest, you should have gone with computing from the start  EDIT: Can't you do computing at a different time ? Private study or somthing ? I enjoyed GCSE ICT, and presumed I would A-Level ICT, but there's really no more to the A-Level than there is to the GCSE. Which seems pointless IMHO. _______________ Website |
