ok, i have a new obsession. this game is AWESOME!!! i got a minor degree in classics, so i know pretty much all the historical stuff and, well, they got most of it right. from battles to regions to unit types and situations, it's all right! but does that make a good game? of course not... which is lucky because they got that right too. anyway, i haven't been this excited about a game since JK3 and JA were announced. _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

This game pwns all! The Seleucid empire is one of your best bets to beating the game. for those of you who don't know what rome is... [url]http://www.totalwar.com[/url}... basically you try to conquer the roman world through both strategy/diplomacy/civilization type stuff, but that's only half the game, the other half is full scale real time butt kicking with the baddest ancient units (and if you know anything about ancient greece or rome you know how unbelievable a spartan hoplite phalanx, a pack of carthaginian elephants, or a roman cohort in testudo (turtle) formation can be). just try the demo, it's at either totalwar.com or fileshack or any of the other download sites. _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

Yea doobie, the demo really rocks, I'm going for the game... Me likes it because it truly is a thinking game. I really enjoy military planning. I tried that with SWG, but the people at the top of the Imperial Alliance are just a tad bit hard headed...now I have troops that MUST follow my commands!!...unless they run away.... I'm buying it asap. |

I recently played the demo and I must say that it seems like an awesome game. Just last semester I took a course on Roman civilization so I pretty much had to memorize most of the battles in this game.
