A lot of the mainstream media are using the translaiton provided by al-Jezeera, the official broadcasting network of al-Queda.  In fact, most of the mainstream media just summarize parts of it and don't present the whole text.The Middle East Media Research Institute has long been translating news stories from Arabic into English for anyone who wants to read what the "moderates" are saying about us in Arabic whilst making nice in English. You know, it's just such a weird feeling to read the transcript of this tape..it's just..so odd. I don't know how else to describe it. You see this man who hates us, who has killed us, Talking to us. He has the guts to actually address us..with lies. I don't think he understands how little influence he actually has on us..or at least how little influence his words have on us. It's just weird for me to read words of feigned concern from an enemy.. I never could comprehend lies. I just..don't understand how one could bring himself to deceive another. Anyway, that's a side track. |
