but u just cant rate a game before you play it yourself, if your gran says its awesome if your mum says its wicked and your dog loves it too, dont mean you will like it  debate all you like but some people like Halo 2 and will slander Half Life 2 and vice versa. so debating it seems somewhat silly  _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

I don't think these two can be fairly debated, since one is on Xbox and one is on PC....no matter what you get a totally different playing experience. Anyway i've been playing halo 2 like constantly, and i personally think it did a very good job living up to the hype. Theres enough new stuff to make it feel like a new game, but enough old to make it feel like good ol' halo -Dice _______________ Dicemaster |

Monteeeeeeeeeeeeee, the Xbox mag gave Halo2 10.0/10.0. That's what I call biased hype. HL2 deserved 96. and i did all that nova prospekt crap on half-life.com and all i got was the pic of gordon being strangled by a barnacle!!! and HL2 is better. dont try and stop the argument... the whole point is to be biased towards HL2!!! _______________ Signature, schmignature. HL2 has MP..... it's called Counter-Strike: Source... Halo 2 sucks, just like Halo... 1) it's Xbox, 2) it won't run on my pc, 3) it's JUST AS overhyped as HL2. |

im so gonna laugh when HL2 dont live up to the hype, Fable didnt, DOOM 3 didnt. im gonna love it, i can 90% be sure that gamespot etc.. have been asked to give nice reviews for Halo 2 by valve etc... PCGamer was brought out, there is noway it deserved 96% when doom 3 got like 86% it was like HL2 was perfect, but it has no MP which should drop it to 90% at least imho. Anyway i like Halo 2 it does exactly wot they said it would pretty much, kinda pissed u need to use the same xbox to do Co op but we cant have everything can we. _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

Half-Life 2 simply because of the reviews I've heard of both (gamespot said the Halo 2 single player wasnt as great as it could be), and the fact that I don't have an X-Box.
