Scythus Aratan - Student  |
Heres a very short story I whipped up for fun  .Jacen Aratan viewed the scene before him. Three Dark Jedi dead, a good day's work. Jacen turned and began to stride away, his cloak fluttering in the wind as he walked. He held a lightsaber on his belt, but he rarely used it. His real weapons were his Bryar pistol, and of course his trusty rocket launcher strapped on his back. Jacen stepped up to his X-Wing, and began to get in. He caught a rustling from the forest around him and he stopped, listening. He drew his pistol, and glanced around. There. In the trees. "Who is it?" he called. The shape moved out of view, then, suddenly, darted into the clearing. The figure was dressed in dark black robes, and held an elegant Saber Staff in his hands. "Stop, Jedi", a deep voice croaked, "You have slain enough of my cousins today. I will stop you before you start to hinder my plans." The figure lashed out, throwing his lightsaber even as he lit it. Only Jacen's force honed reflexes enabled him to backflip out the way in time. "I will slay you just as I have slain many Jedi before you", he growled. Jacen stood firm. "I am no Jedi". With those words he spun, drawing both him guns in the process, rocket launcher in his right hand, and bryar in his left. His first shot was deflected, and the rocket stopped, but his assault continued. This 'creature' may have been a sith, but even the sith have their limits. A laser blast caught his shoulder, and he screeched, his voice echoing through the trees. In his moment of pain, a rocket found its way through, striking him, and sending him flying into the trees. With a loud crunch, he smacked a tree, and fell down limp. "That makes four today", though Jacen to himself, as he settled into the cockpit. With a small smile, he took off, and punched in the co-ordinates for the Yavin system. Scythus _______________ Padawan to the great Jacen Aratan! <Setementor> Scythus is a genius!
