I think there would be more that 2 sides. A Jedi could be good but have a short temper or what ever. Sith? Or Dark Jedi? Quote: No one knows exactly what happened in those ancient times before the rise of the Sith Empire. The fledgling Old Republic had established the new order of Jedi Knights as a police force to protect and nourish its growth. The Jedi were the guardians of peace, a beacon of pure flame to the galaxy. But somehow, things turned. A band of Jedi, discovering the power of the dark side of the Force, forsook the Jedi Code and sought to destroy all the Jedi had worked so hard to build. Seeing its strength crumbling under the teachings of these rogue Jedi, the Republic took action. With the help of the light-side Jedi, it rounded up these renegades and exiled them, giving them a spacecraft and sending them into the unknown. The idea was that out in the vast undiscovered galaxy, with no place to call home, the dark Jedi would die but the Republic would not be held responsible for their deaths. Except that it didn't happen quite like the Republic wanted it to. The exiled Jedi emerged on the other side of the galaxy to a system previously unknown to the Republic. This system was inhabited by a race called the Sith, aliens with red skin, cranial horns, bony chins, and insectile features. The Sith were black magicians, practicing magic arts but without the aid of the dark side of the Force. Their society was divided into three classes or castes: slaves, warriors, and nobles, and the different nobles of Sith clans often engaged in feuds and wars to show their power. It was a violent society, ripe for conquest. Here the dark Jedi saw their chance. As they landed in their spacecraft, the Sith saw them as having fallen from the sky and worshipped them as gods. The dark Jedi then proceeded to enslave all the Sith, from nobles on down to slaves. Seeing that the Sith were so powerful in the black arts, the Jedi then interbred with the most powerful of them, forming a new breed of magicians both strong in the Sith arts and in the dark side of the Force. Out of this new breed of Sith came the Dark Lords of the Sith, men who claimed the right to rule over all of the Sith and dark Jedi. I would choose neither side - as I fundamentally disagree with both codes.... there is no passion - utterly false and totally boring. through power I gain strength etc etc until 'my chains are broken'. The more power you have, the more you are weighted down by responsibility. Your chains grow heavier. Space Marines kick so much ... well ... they're are cool. I would vote Jedi. Maybe after Episode 3 my view would change, but I can still see Yoda tossing the Emperor around like a rag doll if he would be more offensive. Still though, Dooku couldn't even come close to touching him so he ran away with his tail tucked in between his legs. So obvious that he would have been pwned if that is what Yoda wished for. I'm sure the Emperor would bring a little more fury to the table but I don't think he would stand a chance. Again, waiting for episode 3 to determine if the Emperor is anything great and hopefully Yoda will confront him but I'm sure it will be another wimp out tactic just like the one Dooku used. Jedi's pwn the Sith. Obi-wan beat Maul who later was no real contest to Dooku would was slaughtered by Yoda. Vaders role we've seen later who was pwned by his own son who probably had a fraction of the force power Vader had being born from the middiclorians (however that is spelled). Even when Vader turned, the Emperor was so blind to his own end yet he was able to set this whole grand master plan into action to gain for himself the power he had in 4-6 with his use of forseeing. Couldn't even scense anything with Vader?!? The Sith are Jedi's gone bad. Bad in attitude, bad in training, bad in talent, bad in everything although their power are pretty cool. Even so, force lighting caught by a Jedi and chucked back at you makes your silly powers worthless. This isn't meant to start a fight or a attack against anyones liking of the Sith. They make great villians and the movies would probably be boring without them.
