Cell shading a model is alot different from using Q3 or JK2 shader files... At one point, I had a tutotrial on it saved somewhere for HL models. I think, but can't be sure since I don't use it anymore, that the tutorial lists that came with Milkshape had that posted in there somewhere. I could also be completely off, who knows?
The basic concept however, relies on reUVW mapping a model, instead of just repainting the skin. And of course, both the modeling programme you use, and the game engine have to support it. Otherwise you end up with some seriously goofed up looking models. _______________ spirit's searing pain battlefield of broken glass fallen speak to me --Charon |

I was more looking for stuff for Skinning rather than on mapping. I know, it's not really any different, but something with a couple of decent examples on what does what would be helpful. I did mark both of those sites though, and I'll see what more I can make of them. _______________ spirit's searing pain battlefield of broken glass fallen speak to me --Charon |

I haven't found anything really substantial in the way of tutorials for shaders, but I do have this link:
http://www.heppler.com/shader/shader/index.html It's a shader manual for q3, and much of it pertains to jk2. There are some explanations of what each setting is for, but not exactly when or where you would use them. _______________ Death is only the beginning. |
