I know since this is SW based game most here will probably get Star WArs Galaxies when it's released. I've only played on FF game (nr. 7) and it was the best game ever so I say both. Or none. Depending on cash in vs. cash out.
Is FFXI going to be medieval? Haven't really read anything about the game. But as for medieval games go; Forgotten Realms Online would be something! But to answer your original question again: both, one of them or none. _______________ Second-in-command of the mighty FiZZsters |

FFXI all the way. I've always liked the ambiance of the Final Fantasy games (well, before FFX anyway). Plus the medieval/fantasy weaponry and characters just kick @$$. If only there was internet access where my ps2 is  . That sounds scary Buzz. Overall I think I would be more inclined to get FF XI. Mostly for the reasons Ash has stated. But mainly because it seems that in a game that is based on something new (and not on a wonderful movie) there are less limits to your imagination as far as the role you play. Galaxies does look awesome though. Both games scare me. I think I would spend too much time on either one. So hopefully I won't get either. I guess I shouldn’t be posting on here if I’m not going to buy either game… sorry. _______________ One of the Belouve boys |

yeah see, whispy and I know what were talking about. i would much rather be a fantasy dude that could rock out with a giant sward and some whoop ass magic powers then wait for god knows when before i could be a jedi. i mean, im not dissing galexies at all. i still going to get it, but i would rather have FFXI right now. galexies just looks like it has too much chatting and just wondering around then it does rocking out with bitching weapons (yes i know it has some cools guns and stuff but thats besides the point right now). still im gonna try and get both. i have to wait anyway since i plan on getting FFXI on the PC. im not buying a stupid modem for my playstation and then buying a mouse, keyboard and crap. screw that. and i dont want galexies till the expansion pack comes out so i can rock out with so spaceship battles and stuff. thats all my two cents.

I'd really love to get FFXI, but NO MONEY!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGH !! It'd great because loads of char. options, YOUR OWN HOUSE, and, most importantly, Final Fantasy without the predictable storyline!! What will they think of next?!Then again, Galaxies, Star Wars...8+ planets, several races... Tough decision, actually now that I thought about it, but I'd sooner get XI.
