I think that there are one or two vey strange and crippling error messages that appear all over the PC at different times and places.. for example, when you start Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and you forget to put the disk in it says "Wrong disk" then retry yes no or whatever then if you click no it says "The game process was manually killed"  Anybody know any other funny/nasty sounding error messages? _______________ -Padawan of Virtue -Brother of Menaxia, *|irael, Krynn Adept, Majno, Ris Win Juljul, DaMi3N, Beowulf, Dash Starlight, Carrock and Yuken Zalak Bartender at Munes bar. Yeah, it asks you this because you may have clicked it by accident. I shut down XP, and it asks me if I'm sure I want to shut down. Then when it's ready, it asks me to switch it off by the button.  The other day, I placed the Academy v2 into the base directory. But, I'd typed it because I couldn't click very well with the keyboard that day, so when it'd been placed successfully, it told me the directory did not exist. Media Player does that one too, particularly when it can't locate a codec (XVid comes to mind). My personal favorite was the time CS crashed, Windows tried to bring up Dr Watson for a postmortem, it crashed, the Internet Explorer control Steam was using to display HTML in CS died, Windows tried to report errors on all 3 simultaneously, explorer.exe crashed, and the whole thing went down in a big flaming lump. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |
