I'm currently mapping a bit, and for some reason, the sound on my door won't work it does not give me the error that the file isn't found, and I have opened the file to verify if it actually contains sound I've used: key: sound value: sound\movers\doors\door1move.wav but it doesn't work. It's been a long time since I've mapped, so it might be that I'm overlooking something. Tell me, what am I doing wrong? As always, thanks in advance _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! I've found it easier to use the soundsets included in Ja. They are listed in sound.txt in assest0.pk3 The enity key is soundset, and then you just referance one of those listed in the above text file (eg. impdoor1) Course, it's great if you're content with the JA sounds. I've mentioned this before, but be careful about the slashes that you use. it's not sound\movers, it's sound/movers. Also, make sure you varify whether the sound is .mp3 or .wav. As it's a common mistake to think something is a wave file rather than an mp3 and vice versa. - Virtue. _______________ Academy Architect |
