How do i get onto the academy map? I'm new, and i'm a bit lost. OK. So, if someone else is running this on a different server, do i still need to download the map to join? And how do i join the server? 1) First of all, Download the Map. 2) After you have done this, go to your Desktop and click into your My Computer folder, then follow into your HDD (Hard Drive) and make to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\Gamedata\base. 3) Go to the location you downloaded the_academy_v2.zip, open it, and drag the .pk3 into the folder you just opened. 4) Close the folder. 5) Copy down the IPs and passwords of the following Servers: JK3Home, JK3Classes, and Wireplay. Simply click their names to be directed to their information. Do not give this information to anyone else, just jot it down safely while we're doing this. 6) Run the game: Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy. 7) Go to 'Play'. 8) Hit 'Join Server'. 9) Change the Source to 'Favorites'. 10) Change the rate to '56k' if you're on a 56k connection, or 'LAN' if you're on a higher one. 11) Click 'Add Favorite' and enter one of the IPs. Do the same for all three servers, and you should be able to see them after clicking the Refresh button. To play on one, make sure you are on the favorites section, and click 'Password'. Enter the password for the server you wish to join, then click the server and hit 'Join Server'. There are other servers, and they can be found here. Keep in mind that servers beginning with 'jk3-' are Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy servers, and the others, starting in '[JA]', are Jedi Outcast servers, apart from the Team Speak server, which is our Voice Chat server.
