Let's see here... source engine.gcf - 71,316,256 bytes (68.0 MB) source materials.gcf - 1,083,574,472 bytes (1.00 GB) source models.gcf - 471,102,896 bytes (449 MB) source sounds.gcf - 1,022,938,056 bytes (975 MB) half-life 2 content.gcf - 879,346,132 bytes (838 MB) half-life 2 deathmatch.gcf - 50,568,152 bytes (48.2 MB) counter-strike source client.gcf - 3,246,284 bytes (3.09 MB) counter-strike source shared.gcf - 881,179,868 bytes (840 MB) TOTAL: 4.16 GB Windows XP and all its updates take about the same amount over again. In short, you're screwed on less than a 30GB hard drive. 20 GB should be fine if HL2 and CS:S are all you'll ever install. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time.
