Bleh. Bloodrayne is extremely gory and has many flying body parts. It also involves a battle against a former Satan, and Bloodrayne herself is half vampire. There is a lot of blood sucking in this game. And a lot of cussing. Rayne herself is the main perpetrator, sayin' every word in the book at times. This game is not for kids. Rayne and her mentor Mynce both wear revealing clothing, and Rayne often moves in a suggestive manner during cutscenes. Rayne also tends to use her mdiddle finger alot.

The game is also horribly corny. Max Payne has a y smile on his face the entire game, that reminds you of Han Solo. In fact, you almost wish Harrison Ford was playing Max Payne, or at least did the voice: at least it would be sarcastic.

The controls are unintuitive; after fumbling around for five minutes in a shootout, I finally found out the draw weapon and fire button. In fact, that first scene (the one I wrote about at the beginning of this review) shouldn't take five minutes. It should take approximately 1.5 min. It actually did when I played through it for the eighteen-millionth time. Yes, this game is that tedious.

After playing this game, my soul feels drained. Maybe I need to lie down?but I need to play some games. Anyone got a old copy of Tetris around somewhere?

There is tons of blood, and you can also beat people with a aluminum bat. I think as Christians, we should stay away from this game.

In conclusion, while there are a bunch of good qualities, it's offensive content makes this game something we should avoid. Also, DO NOT LET KIDS PLAY THIS!

Christians: Do NOT trust this reviewer... there are some flaws to his character:

I. He believes in an all peaceful world, which is impossible to attain... not during ANYONE's lifetime.

II. He believes that all children (probably in age group 5-16) should NOT be exposed to violence at ANY measure... but the sad, sad truth is that anyone who doesn't know the truth about the world is doomed to failure. I know you all want to protect what you love, but you cannot protect them forever. Don't get me wrong, I have love within myself also.

As part of your extracurricular activities, you'll get to go on field trips to exotic locales such as Tatooine, Hoth, and Coruscant, and get shot at, force-pushed, and sliced into pepperoni by the local denizens.

Unfortunately, the Jedi-tomb demo level shows one of the flaws in the AI of your opponents. They have an annoying habit of falling of cliffs. It wasn't so obvious in Jedi Outcast, because there weren't that many cliffs to fall off from.

There is a place in the demo where I was walking across a bridge over a bottomless chasm (there seem to be a lot of bottomless chasms in games). One Dark-Jedi jumps down from a ledge and yells, "My master has trained me well", before promptly cartwheeling to his death over the side of the bridge. His buddy, displaying the same level of enthusiasm, leaps at me screaming, "The Sith shall rise again". Unfortunately, he misses and joins his friend on his way to the center of the planet.

In the next area, another Dark-Jedi jumps up from a crack in the ground and shouts "You are weak!", then falls right back into the crack he jumped out of. Ouch.

After that, two Dark-Jedi actually manage to engage me, but one of them accidentally stabs the other through the head. Then the last Dark-Jedi jumps on me, and knocks me down. Unfortunately, he bounces off me and, yep, you guessed it, fell to his death down yet another bottomless chasm.

Some of the female character models in the game are a little scantily clad., especially the Twi'leks. However, it's similar to what was in the films. Since one can customize one's character, clothing choice is up to the individual as well.

This game IS violent, but not in a Quake or Doom way to where you kill everything that moves. If you must kill, you do it quietly(e.g. strangling, snapping the neck).
