Well now you guys got a point there. |

Come on, even if they'd been trying to do voodoo to the kid, they're way too young for being arrested... the teachers and parents should take care of it, not the police. |

They were 9 and 10 years old. A felony? _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

I know amaricas kinda crazy but that isn't the case dude they written a threat to harm or to kill someone dude and showed it to him in that case it can be considered a fellony btw they were harassing him with those pictures and thats good enough for me to arrest him. 0-0 I just can't beleive anyone would be stupid enough to arrest two elementary school(i'm guessing) kids because of drawings. If punishment is due it should be from their own parents. The police should have never been called and they should have never took the whole situation seriously... I can't beleive this sort of thing today. It's all because of a few **** ups that went insane and killed people in school and now everyone is so paranoid that they'd arrest a couple of kids for even thinking about violence. This country is more whacked than i think people wanna admit... Edit: I draw my own violent stick art for the fun of it and even put it on t-shirts i wear. Just look at my profile pic : P Teachers at my school have seen them and most even laughed. My stick guys are anonymous so i'm guessing that's why they don't care. I think the rules are just you can't draw threatening drawings depicting symbolisms of real people but it's still whacked. _______________ Signed by me :/ This comment was edited by BlackPlague on Jan 31 2005 03:46pm. |

Well, they are special ed kids.. and sure, it's not good to do it about a classmate, but I can't help but wonder, if it was an anonymous person they "killed", would they still get arrested? EDIT: Stick-wars owned, Dane. ^^ This comment was edited by Jacen Aratan on Jan 29 2005 10:39am. |

Another thought...were they inspired by Stick Figure Death Theatre? (Not for the squeamish, btw, even though they are stick figures!) _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

You gotta admit, though, it is pretty disturbing. I mean, you hear stories all the time about school officials throwing hissy fits because a kid writes a story about a serial killer (though it's okay to write a report about Stalin or Hitler), but in this case look at the actual image. I grant you they may simply have done it for shock value. But it's still pretty disturbing. If these kids really do have problems, I doubt the justic system can help them. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

okay i agree with no legal punishment only punishment from parents and such. but over drawings = an arrest they were 9 and 10 they could'nt even do that stuff. maybe they could bu totally screw it up but wahteva. |
