The Academy beta map, the 2.1 that they were downloading for the Auroch trails, is that older or newer than The_Academy_V2 map? Derelict Crusader was the guy who made the Academy's JK2 maps. I *highly recommend against* installing any of their JK3 conversions, as they contain improperly ported resource files that overwrite their JK3 counterparts and cause missing textures and worse. And about the only map Sete didn't mention was the_academy_v2, which we are on right now. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. Okay: - This map by =Derelict-Crusader=, originally made for JK2, but converted to Jedi Academy. - Versions 1 2 3 4 - The Academy Beta map by Virtue and FaDed - I could find only the second version of. - Versions 1 2 - The Academy Version 1 by Virtue and FaDed. - Versions 1 2 There were other maps, but that's as far as I've revised - 2003 - 2005. |

The map you are talking about, academy_beta_2, is from before even the first the_academy map was released. It was the map that lead onto the current 2 the_academy and the_academy_v2 maps. While I'm sure Virtue always wants to improve and add things to the_academy maps, I doubt we'd be getting another release, or even a preview this soon after version 2 was released. _______________ A wizard did it. |
