well, it said the girls wouldnt get any charges, just have to pay the 900$s in hopital fees... but honestly. Wow. I dont want to go on a rant here... but what is this world comming to? I mean, when people who want to be good semarians (sp?), and do random acts of kindness... get sued for it AND the person suing wins. I mean, this is just the same as first aiders being sued for bodily damage (CPR/on the ground method for stopping someone choking can break the ribcage) and the person suing for bodily damage wins... its as if people are encouraging the world to be more anomnyous and to be more evil and mean to eachother. What is the good and logic in that? I think the person who sued (and won) should be slapped and then sued for being an idiot. Or just sued for being frail of heart. Honestly. It made no reference to her elderly mother being scared... and besides, if they were being robbed, all they had to do was go out there see who it is (if they left, then well, nothing would have happened). They had an 18 year old in the house... what the hell?
