So this weekend I am going through the long tedious (but well worth it process) of ripping all of my CDs to FLAC, which I will then convert to OGG when I get my new portable audio player (yeah can't really call it an mp3 player if I am going to be removing all the mp3s ![]() So anyway, when I ripped my music to mp3, I would always name it each track just by the song name and then store it in <Artist>/<Album>/<track> i.e. Radiohead/OK Computer/Aribag.mp3 using the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags I would, name them Artist - Track Ripping things to FLAC using "FairStars CD Ripper" does not allow this. ![]() Does anyone else using something that does? I am also willing to use APE if someone knows of a ripper that will give me what I want. _______________ Silent Bob (Kevin Smith): You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. As far as Windows goes iTunes is my favorite music management program, and AFAIK it supports more than just iPods. I think it has AAC, FLAC, OGG, and MP3. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |
