I personally like the Electric ones as long as they aren't used to make alot of noise. Acoustic would be my favorite do to sound and style, however with pedals and such the electric ones can sound like many different styles in one! Very cool. It depends what kind of atmosphere or effect you want to achieve, both have their strong points. An accoustic is a lot more portable, and a bit easier to play in my opinion. It's sound is a lot more pure too. That said, I much prefer the range of sounds and VOLUME you can get with an electric guitar. But that's more the kind of music I like.  So, um, electric guitar for me. _______________ A wizard did it. |

IMO neithers better, just more suitable for different types of music. Therefore your choice of which you prefer will be mostly dictated by your taste in music. Acoustic By far. Its cool because you get used to a song with electirc then you hear it done with acoustic. I'm a big fan of acoustic. The sounds is completely natural, and brings more life and heart out of a guitar.
