Read part of the lucas interview at Star Wars Celebration. He said he never took SW to 7-9. It would be best to let the EU be made into a Movie for 7-9 after Lucas is through. So he doesnt' muck with what has been created in the EU books. Also he confirmed two Star Wars tv shows, one based on the clone wars and one live action that takes place bewteen III and IV. _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. I completely agree with that, for more movies to come out right now it would only appear to the media that LucasFilm is only producing for the sake of money. Unlike its counterpart LucasArts...nooooo LucasArts would never make anything just for the sake of money...nooooooo never *cough*sarcasim*cough* As for the age of the original actors with only a little make up they'd look perfect for 7-9 if the movies were set in The New Jedi Order series seeing as how there all knocking on 50 in those books. _______________ Look unto me for I possess the blue flag!! I heard talk of Episodes 7-9 back before Episode I was just getting ready to open. George Lucas said (if I remember correctly) that he wouldn't be making anymore movies after Episode III because he felt he would be to old to see Episodes 7-9 through to completion, and if he can't do it he doesn't want anyone else to either  _______________ Be at peace, and you will discover things you never dreamed possible. |

Well if 7-9 are made I think that it's time for Lucas to pass the torch. It's pretty obvious they he is tired of Star Wars. He should let a good producer handle the rest. Someone he trusts. Of course he should be involved in the making but only as a giver of advise. We already know what happens after 4-6 cause of the books. It would be nice to see it all come alive. It has been confirmed on a number of sites that Lucas was talking about doing ANIMATED stuff (just see how Clone Wars did, it's no wonder) and TV SHOWS (likely live-action, though implied, not actually stated) Most true-to-the-Force sites see this as a final NO for Lucas doing any more Star Wars movies. Likely, what has been done already, will keep things thriving for 20 years. Really, the 20th anniversary was in 1997, and they were starting on a new movie then. I might start wondering at the 40th or 50th anniversary, and I will bet you that with no new movies, Star Wars will still be thriving in 2017 or 2027. And then, in maybe 2027, they might start up a new set of movies. I'll start worrying then. But the 40th anniversary, in 2017, is not that long off, when you think about how long Star Wars has stuck around. That's 12 years. We can keep it alive for at least that long, easily. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are. I wouldn't trust that site...many of the things it says will happen in Episode III are incorrect (assuming the Ep III novel is correct). Personally I don't see how he could make Episode 7-9 without the original actors, and even if Lucas could I honestly wouldn't want him to. I don't know what changed in the last 20 years to make him think things like Gungans were a good idea, but I think those changes made him incapable of doing justice to Episodes 7-9. I have doubt about such a television show as well...considering how goofy most sci-fi TV shows are. _______________ "You hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability..."
