As some of you know i been out for a while cause my Laptop broke. This has happened a few times and they have agreed to replace it with a new one. The replacement model they suggested seems to be really good specs etc. But it is Widescreen. I sort of agreed to this without really thinking about it, and i was wondering. What is wide-screen gaming like? It probably wont matter for jk3 because i play that in a window anyway, so i assume i'll just have a bit more "spare screen" to the side of the game window. But what about others, do they get stretched all out of proportion? or Do i have black lines on either side of the window? If so, is that distracting or do you rarly notice it. I understand newer gamers have a widescreen mode, How does that work, do i just get to see more of the area either side of my avatar? It should arrive this week or next, but forewarned is forarmed as they say. Some games even have options to change thier aspect ratio to fit a widescreen monitor/laptop screen. It's pretty spiffy if ya ask me _______________ Be at peace, and you will discover things you never dreamed possible. |
