I saw on the internet that Lucas was planning to name the movie "Fall of the Jedi" Because many Jedi die. But now the name is: Revenge of the Sith! Why did he changed it? I think Fall of the Jedi is better  . This post was edited by Tyrant on Apr 26 2005 06:38pm. |

For the parallel titles thing, both "Fall of the Jedi" and "Revenge of the Sith" go well with RotJ... I think that GL also wanted to get the word "Revenge" in there somewhere as he had previously used it instead of "Return" in ROTJ. I think that it meshes well with ROTJ too That's my 2 cents! _______________ Tamal

Plus, "Jedi" already features in the title of the aforementioned movie, so it would be unoriginal to have it in another SW title. well i dont know about that...but I do know that "Return of the Jedi" was originally going to be called "Revenge of the Jedi", but it was changed at the last moment cause revenge isnt very jedi like. I think revenge of the sith is a hommage to that _______________ INTP |
