Well there doesn't seem to be a lot of subjects one can discuss on this "General" Forum, so how about we have a discussion on the different varieties of Runner Beans? What is your favourite? How do YOU grow them? Trellis or just string? Do you just buy them from a supermarket? I love beans. Woo woo woo. I love beans, how 'bout you? High in fiber, low in fat. Hey I betcha didn't know that! When I eat beans, I sit in my own little cloud. Nobody comes to visit me in my little cloud.  I eat beans, yay yay yay. I eat beans everyday! Beans are an excellent source of protein. I love Beans Dinky Doo! Sorry about that, it's because I'm English, and I suppose quite ignorant of the ways of the world. I have no idea why we English call them "Runner beans" so I can't help you there , and it never occured to me that other people from different comunities would have another name for them, but I should've realised really. I have no idea if you guys are serious or not So I'll assume for the moment you ARE serious. A runner bean is a green vegitable that grows on vines (I think), a bit like the pod that peas grow in? It has "beans" inside the pod, but it's the pod that we eat. Some call them string beans, or broard beans. Does that help? Now if AREN'T serious.
