What are some good multiplayer mods to download? I've heard good things about Promod.

Yes promod promod promod. I was member of the advertising team. I didn't actually have anything to do with the mod at all, and nobody asked me too, but everywhere I went (alog with a few others) we would tell people about promod and basically 'big' it up.
Its great, the saber does proper damage. "Thats a bit stupid though" I haer you say,"cos now duels will just be faster". Not quite. The blocking has been improved greatly. Its all about aiming on your opponent. Theres a small recticle on your crosshair. You both have to keep them aimed at one another, and when the connection of a swing is made, it calculates whose accuracy is better and awards a hit, block, deflection etc. Sounds kinda slow and boring doesn't it? Its nothing like that, its actually more fast paced than normal JKII as saberists are now and equal to gunners. On the subject of gunners and saberists, you can't be brilliant at both, which I think is great. At the moment when you go in a server you get these super jedi gunners, with all the force powers of their chosen side, plus the guns, leaving saberists without a chance. Now you can choose to either be a fully fledged jedi or a gunner. Skill points are put onto the guns, just like force powers, so whilst a gunner can still have a few powers, it can't have any of the amazing ones, or the higher lvls of powers. As a jedi you're jsut like you are currently, except you can only use a few basic vlvls of weapons (such as bryar primary fire, and maybe a slow secondary fire if yo give it the points) The best thing though is definately the improved saber power, although it can be a little annoying when someone who doesn't have a clue what they're doing happens to get a better accuracy rated swing in than you
