she knew her mom was very beatiful(In SW Return of the Jedi) How could she know her mom looked very beatiful? Her mom(Padme) died when she was a baby. (loosely quoted from George Lucas interview) Lets also take into consideration when exposing "plot errors" that Star Wars was produced with no intention of creating Empire or ROTJ. When Star Wars was released in '77 Vader was not Lukes daddy and Luke and Leia were not related. Luke and Leia kiss in ESB right?!?! GL is a devoted religious man who has said that "the kiss scene between Luke and Leia was a mistake, but a necessary one" He never intended to display insestual relations but the scene did add a large amount of much needed romance.
