I'm gonna have to go with Obi on this one. Luke never had any formal training as a Jedi. only the mystic words from Ben in A New Hope and the makeshift training in the wilds of Dagobah from yoda. Neither were in the condition to formally train Luke to become the caliber Jedi they had once been. Even though Luke is the son of the "Chosen One" and may hold an advantage of controling the force more over Obi, he was still formally trained for a long long time, alot longer than luke and therefore i believe he would win. |

Obi-Wan, even if you do mean Jedi Master Luke. Obi-Wan had an entire war to perfect his lightsaber skills, while Luke had... not much, unless you go into the Yuuzhan Vong stuff, but even with that the style of fighting would be so completely different it really wouldn't help him any. _______________ Well then. I don't really think that's a fair comparison. Yes, Luke is ridiculously strong in the Force, but he isn't even a Jedi Knight until the very end of RotJ. Jedi Knight with less than a year of training vs. Jedi Master with over 13 years of training... hmm. I wonder? Now, Luke as a Jedi Master versus Episode III Obi-Wan is another matter entirely. _______________ © |
