My only prupose at posting this link was to show an entertaining flash movie. What people get or don't get from it is beyond my concern. I took it as a humoristic thing, so should you. Because from the reactions I see in this thread, most people stopped to the 'funny' aspect of that movie, and only 2 went further, with a professoral tone with that. Pointing out that you disagree with the message of the movie is quite irrelevant since you won't change people's opinions by voicing yours in a louder way. Now, about GM food or 'organic', I have to say I don't care. Pesticides are my biggest concern today since these are basically poison in our food, on an everyday basis. This is called chronical poisoning and as far as I know, most of the products used to protect the veggies from pests are carcinogen. You might not have any effect right now but on the long run it will be another story I think. Compared to that, GM food or not, what is appealing in organic food is the fact they're grown using as little chemicals as possible. I do not dispute that the vid was entertaining--especially the plays on words, e.g. "The Farm is a, er, field..." I was merely pointing out that the "facts" it presents do not jibe with real science, and it is presented as though it were an educational film, not merely satire. "Organic" is just an advertising slogan to justify trippling the price of food. All food is "genetically modified" unless you can point to a staple of my diet that existed a billion years ago.
