Heres the deal (I got 2 questions), #1 I just saw E3 for the second time, and it sounds a lot like him, actually it sounds a lot like the old darth vader voice (but that voice was put through the voice grinder a couple of times). So was this a new guy and the simply used modern tech. to alter the voice or is it James Earl Jones himself? #2 Also, I don't know who played the original emperor Palpetine, but that sounds like him (an of course they could've done the voice thing again), is that the original actor who played Palpetine? _______________ Shout out to DJ Sith cause he's my big bro. If my mom died I doubt I would be shouting out "NOOOOOO!" like a 4th rate actor though. Get a clue and a hint Plo. Its the delivery of the line that is ridiculous, not the fact that such a line needed to be delivered. It just reminds me too much of someone shouting out "No" as a silly thing, or if you need to think the guy getting steam rolled in Austin Powers. You where he starts yelling to stop at a slow moving vehicle 100 feet away from him. That's the same delivery that Vader gives. Yeah the removed the old woman and replaced it with palpatine. He has the right makeup there too and the changed dialogue isn't THAT horrible. A note on the question of the "original actor" who played Palpatine: Palpatine appeared (to movie audiences, anyway) for the first time in The Empire Strikes Back, and I seem to recall reading that he was actually played by an old woman whose name did not appear in the credits. I haven't seen any of the bastardized DVD versions of the film, so I don't know what the scene looks like now. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
