Anybody else noticed how stupid the emperor looks when he's trying to poke the jedi with his lightsword? is this cos he's an old man and his arthritIs (notice the second I!) stops him doing any swinging motion or is it just because he's a bit... pokey? _______________ JOIN THE DARK SIDE!, we have cookies... It was completely bogus, Mace Windu could of sliced his head off in half the time it took Sidios to do that. I think his pokey thing was kinda weird especially the very first one. But it is also explainable. He is so intune with the force he knew that would be the move to kill them. Notice how the better the jedi, the slower the fights seem to be? I mean look at obiwan and anikan they were swinging and spinning those things so fast i think a few people in the theater got a seizure. But then when mace and sidous fought they didnt do any crazy spinning stuff they looked more like the older fights. Sith fighting styles center on killing the opponent, Jedi style leans toward defense of self at all times. This is why we rarely see a Jedi thrust with a Lightsaber, although the Jedi is very skilled at killing it isn't his/her purpose to do so. It is safe to say that the Emperor is a fine Lightsaber duelist, he took on the better half of the Jedi Council alone and didn't do too bad. There is no doubt in my mind that he would have owned Mace Windu too if he didn't have another agenda, namely converting Anakin to the dark side. It is no coincidence that Mace was the last to fall. Anakin hated Windu, Windu opposed everything Anakin was trying to achieve. This opposition ultimately leads to Anakins fall, and Mace's for that matter. Shoot!! The entire order falls cuz Windu didn't trust Anakin.
