Anakin Skywalker - A tragedy Born unto an unwed mother and into a life of slavery might challenge the mental stability of a normal human child, not for the chosen one, not for Anakin Skywalker. Born of the force, a spontaneous pro-creation of Midichlorians in a young Shmi Skywalker in the outer rim. Confused and frightened Shmi hid her pregnancy and, after Annie’s birth, ventured to move off-world to start anew and was tricked by slave traders. Moved to Tatooine she was sold into slavery. When little Annie was born he was a very good child, he did as his mother told him and he took care in his chores, very much an assistant to his mom and her work as a maid slave. Anakin Skywalker started his life very aware that he was not just an ordinary child. He knew he would be a great hero some day. He would be the first to go to every system in the galaxy. He was right; he would be a great hero and travel to every corner of the galaxy. Every day, however, he would go to Watto’s shop and fix droids and scrap crashed pod racers, then one day they walked in. Quigon Jinn and Padme Amidala represented both paths of Anakin’s heart. His desire to become a great hero and his passion for Padme, little did he know that when these paths would cross again in his future he would experience the greatest pain he could ever imagine. Anakin was a gifted young Padawan his capacity to understand and practice force skills was astonishing. Where he was fantastic in skills and saber play he fell short in meditation. A Jedi must remain balanced and must draw instinct and intuition from the force. Anakin’s mind would drift to the future in his meditations, he witnesses great destruction in his minds eye. He would shake his head violently to end the premonition and his Master Obi Wan would reprimand him for losing focus to quickly. What is actually happening is Anakin is so adept in the force naturally that he merely needs call on it to show him and it does. At the start of the Clone Wars Young Padawan Anakin Skywalker lost an arm in combat against the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus. Anakin took to heart the lesson he learned that day and he began to really focus on the force and the force focused on him. No matter how tight of a scrape he was in he was able to overcome by some stroke of luck. The force was strong in him it powered him and gave him focus. As a Knight of the Jedi Order Anakin led battle after battle against the Droid Armies of the Separatists and time after time he would defeat the advancing armies. Every bit the hero that he wanted to be he found he wanted more. Defeated in Lightsaber combat by his mentor Obi Wan Kenobi and terribly burned he had to be placed into a life preserving pod until a mobile life support unit could be created. Sith Lord Darth Sidious had the hood and face mask modeled after a Sith God. Darth Vader quickly went into an intense despair over the news of Padme’s death and the death of his child still in her womb. Lord Sidious had trained many apprentice in his time but none had shown so much power and he knew it was the anguish of Vader’s loss that fueled the dark side to new heights of power. His sorrow also made him very easy for the emperor to control. Darth Vader trained hard to regain his fighting ability he was determined to hunt down every Jedi and destroy them personally. The Jedi were to blame for everything, especially Kenobi. Well trained by his master the Sith Lord Darth Vader scoured the galaxy for any force user that would not align with the emperor and destroyed them. A thousand Jedi fell before him twice as many potential force users and countless force sensitive beings. He enslaved the Wookie race as a tribute to his master he was all evil. The arrival of Luke stirred the sorrow in Darth Vader and made him more the Emperor’s slave than ever before. Luke was identified as a threat when it was discovered that he had been trained by Obi Wan Kenobi. The Sith Master had grown paranoid and foresaw the coming of a new Jedi threat. With no accountability for the bodies of Obi Wan and Yoda Lord Sidious knew the Jedi would return. When Darth Vader first looked upon his son Luke on the forest moon of Endor. He did not see the boy he had seen last, he did not see an enemy before him he saw a Jedi. A true Jedi that would not lash out and lose control, all the things he himself could not do. He felt pride and the curse of the dark side began to lift from Annie’s very tired shoulders. Back in the presence of his master Lord Vader tested Luke, he knew that in order for Luke to become the Jedi he could never be he would have to give 100% and use every trick to turn him against the light. He failed and so did his Emperor and as he watched the bane of his existence Palpatine violently murder his son in the same way he had helped murder the great Jedi Master Mace Windu he simply could not allow it. The discovery of a twin sister flooded Vader’s mind and heart with happy memories and inspiration of what the young lady must look like, if she resembled Padme. These were his passing thoughts well almost. As Anakin Skywalker breathed in real air for the first time in 20 years his mind focuses and he reaches out to the force, he is greeted by a familiar face Obi Wan Kenobi. Obi Wan quickly instructs his old Padawan in the Jedi technique of becoming a ghost and retaining consciousness beyond death. His old student took to his training quickly and in the winding down seconds of his life he gave himself back to the force having fulfilled the prophecy at last. He destroyed the corrupt and proud Jedi Order only the will of the force kept Obi Wan and Yoda alive, and he destroyed the most evil of Orders the Sith. His offspring will start the study of the force from nothing but the basics. “The Chosen One will be born of a virgin mother, conceived by the force for he will truly bring balance to the force during its time of greatest imbalance.” Jedi Prophecy The Orders of Old are destroyed, the force starts anew in young Jedi Master Luke Skywalker son of Anakin the Chosen One. The Order will be rebuilt by its new Master and it will be done as he wants for that is the will of the force.
