Hohoho. You know how Anakin insisted that the Jedi Council assign HIM the task to go after General Grievous, but it was given to Obi Wan instead? Well, if he DID go after Grievous, he may not have had to have his meeting with Palpatine where he became Darth Vader. But then Anakin may have wound up as ONE DEAD JEDI. Thoughts, opinions? _______________ slorp |

Yeah, but if he wasn't there, he wouldn't have found out about Palpatine being Darth Sidious, and he wouldn't have told the Jedi, therefore that whole 'arresting' scene wouldn't have taken place. _______________ Top ten reasons to get a better computer...|My fan |

I think Palapatine knew that the council wouldnt let Anakin go after Grievous, thus pushing Anakin further into his (Palpatine's) hands. This seems like a running plot of Palpatine's throughout the film to offer Anakin postions of power that he knows the council will never agree to, just to show Anakin how generous he is and how little the council think of him. And you know what? It works!!! |
