texture size won't fit the brush

I have an ongoing problem with creating skyboxes and brushes that look pathetic, because the texture size doesn't fit the brush'es size.
Ex: I make a skybox and want to put up the bespin_sky txr as the view. it happens, that instead of a big-one-sky, there is a milion of smaller versions, covering the surface.
any advice?

Still, it shouldn't matter if it's a skybox.

In GTK Radient v 1.4.0, hit "s", then click fit, apply, and done. That will make the texture fit the brush exactly on every side.

Press S, it'll bring up the surface editor and you can edit texture positions and scales from there.

Make sure all of the Sky textures' sizes are a power of 2.

Also, when you're using a sky in Radiant, be sure that there is a texture called, for example, "bespin," without anything on the end. This can be small, and it doesn't matter if it's small, because the texture that will actually show is the whole skybox (bespin_rt, bespin_up, etc.) in their correct directions.

Basically, under the Textures menu, there should be a texture set called skies. You'll see some named Bespin, Yavin, etc. - just use it, whatever the size, and it'll show up fine in game.
